NRHH

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is a diverse, international honor society focusing on the unique leadership of students living on campus. Each chapter of NRHH is comprised of the top 1% of student leaders living on-campus. Through various programs and volunteer opportunities, we strive to emulate the two core values of NRHH, Recognition and Service. NRHH members express their deep gratitude for the efforts of the many integral members who improve residence life on campus through numerous programs. Such programs include the monthly Of-The-Month (OTM) awards which allow any person on campus to nominate another person or group of people on campus or a program for campus recognition, with the potential for regional and national recognition. Additionally, NRHH conducts recognition events including Thank You Letters to the Troops, the President’s List Recognition Dinner, and a thank you dinner for the local fire department. In addition to our deep value in recognition, NRHH strives to give back to the campus and community through numerous service events and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, NRHH volunteers numerous hours to aid the community through opportunities such as Feed My Starving Children, Crayola’s National Crayon Recycling Program, and on-campus blood drives. NRHH was founded in 1987, when a select group of residence hall leaders created our chapter. Only a few years later, in the spring of 1995, our chapter of NRHH was recognized as the Chapter of the Year Runner-up for the Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (CAACURH) region. One year later, in the spring of 1996, the Miami University Chapter of NRHH was renamed to the Dr. Richard L. Nault Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary.
