Indian Students Association

The Indian Students Association (ISA) helps to maintain the identity of subcontinental Indians and Indian Americans, enriches their community life, and promotes cultural exchange and understanding among Indians, Americans, and other minority groups. ISA sponsors an annual Diwali celebration in November, honoring India's most celebrated holiday. ISA's Diwali celebration is the largest event held by a multicultural organization on campus. Additionally, ISA plans programs throughout the semester for interested students including lunches at nearby Indian restaurants, the celebration of other Indian holidays, and organizing community charity events, as well. The Miami University Indian Students Association is a means by which students of common heritage can communicate and interact with one another, though not exclusively limited to students of Indian descent. All are welcome!
