Claws With A Cause

Claws with a Cause was founded in 2017 with the goal of giving cats a second chance. In Oxford, Ohio, home of Miami University, there is a stray cat epidemic that needs to be addressed. Every year students buy pets, but many of them get left behind when the students head home for breaks or graduate and head off to their jobs. These animals are abandoned of no fault of their own and are left to fend for themselves in a small rural town. Our goal is to educate students before they purchase pets so that they understand the commitment involved and can make more informed decisions. We also help rehabilitate the cats that have already been abandoned in hopes of giving them a second chance. Since we are new on campus we are a small club, but we have big goals and a lot of heart.
