About this Event
The English Department and the Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation are holding a virtual fundraiser for TOPSS with this creative reading and online art auction event. Featuring writing by students in Miami University’s Creative Writing MFA program and art by local artists, the 2023 Writer’s Harvest will benefit the Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS). The mission of TOPSS is to provide services, remove barriers, and develop collaborations that support the nutrition-related well-being of all residents of the Talawanda School District so they can fully utilize their unique capabilities across the lifespan. All proceeds from the art auction are donated directly to TOPSS. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to donate directly to TOPSS throughout the event.
This year's readings will be by Danton Remoto, Oshin Gogoi, Mary Newton, and Ash Ganderi.
The art auction pieces can be viewed here.
This event will be held on Zoom. Register here.
