Please join us on December 4th from 4:30 to 5:30pm for the opening reception of our newest exhibition, Workers Unite! The Struggles and Successes of Unionization Efforts at Miami University. We will have remarks from our curators, Rachel Makarowski (Special Collections Librarian) and Loren Breidenbach (Special Collections Intern), followed by appetizers and an exhibition viewing. 

Workers Unite! examines the struggles and successes of labor organization at Miami University. Using collections in the Walter Havighurst Special Collections and University Archives and from local union archives, viewers will learn how unions formed, fought, and sometimes failed on campus over the last century and the impact of collective organization on the employees and their working conditions on Miami’s campuses.
