Sound your barbaric YAWP once more for the third iteration of the Literature Program's annual marathon reading of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass. Taking place in the Harris Hall Front Lawn (the space between the Halls), students, staff, faculty, and alumni are all invited to claim 5 minute time slots to read from sun-up until sun-down. There will be a prize raffle for readers, and refreshments are available all day. Twice now, we have seen the "ghost" of Whitman himself appear to read his poem... Will he appear once more!?

Sign up for 5 minute reading slots for chances to win fabulous prizes, including a typewriter! Slot times are first come, first served - don't miss your chance!
