One of the companies of industrialist Paul J. Sorg, The Miami Cycle and Manufacturing Company in Middletown, Ohio, was established in 1895. By the early 1900s the company was manufacturing 100,000 bicycles per year and in 1910 began manufacturing the famous Flying Merkel motorcycle.

The presentation will be given by Sam Ashworth, who is a former Armco employee, teacher, graphic artist and past president of the Middletown Historical Society.
