Yola Randriana ‘20 graduated with a B.A. in linguistics from Miami and currently works as a data analyst at Spark451 Inc., an education marketing company. She loves figure skating, movies, and linguistics!

Jazlyn Simon ‘24 earned her two Bachelor’s degrees in Linguistics and Spanish from Miami University. She currently teaches and intends to pursue her graduate education in Hispanic Linguistics or Computational Linguistics to research social perceptions of language technology.

Leah Schaede-Hickey ‘13 is a computational linguist with a BA in Linguistics and German from Miami University, an MA in Linguistic Theory and Typology from University of Kentucky, and an MA in Computational Linguistics from Indiana University. Over the course of her career she has worked in both the non-profit and private sector applying her skills to a wide variety of projects. Her main areas of focus have been bias and hate speech detection, modeling and data annotation, and natural language processing.
