The spring semester brings a new concept for embracing wellness by dedicating days on the academic calendar to intentionally encourage our community to nourish their minds, bodies, and spirits. As an alternative to Spring Break, five wellness days have been designated for students. Staff will follow their normal work schedules for each of these days. Later in the spring semester, staff will be encouraged to explore various resources offered by Human Resources and its partners. Each of the 5 dedicated days showcases opportunities to explore the 8 dimensions of wellness; Social, Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Environmental, Occupational, Intellectual, and Financial. The goal of this initiative is to learn more about campus wellness resources and to inspire and rejuvenate.
