Homelessness advocate Grover-Wehman Brown will give a one hour lecture open to all Miami faculty, students and staff and the public. In the talk, Grover will present research on what works to end homelessness, why certain populations such as Black people, formerly incarcerated people, queer and transgender people, and youth are over-represented in the rate of people that experience homelessness, and share case examples of how individual and local collective behavior contributes to the widespread housing crisis. Free and open to the public. Contact Carey Hardin, hardincf@miamioh.edu, for more information.
