Walk For Alopecia is the world’s largest event supporting alopecia awareness and research! On this special day, friends, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and the entire alopecia areata community unite to drive progress toward new treatments, expand support, advocate for change, and fight stigma. Nearly 7 million people live with alopecia in the U.S. alone. Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease that causes unpredictable, often sudden, and severe hair loss. We each have the power to make a difference in the fight against this devastating disease, so I’m asking for your help to show the world that it's not just hair!

If you are from the Cincinnati, Oxford, or northern Kentucky area, please join us for the Walk For Alopecia! Meet at the Oxford Memorial Park in Oxford, Ohio at 8:45 am. Thank you all for taking the time to learn about alopecia, join in the effort, and eventually put an end to this condition!

Hosted by: Microbiology Club, Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity
