Talk Series
No RSVP required
Join us in the Gardner-Harvey Library’s spacious lower-level Makerspace and event area for the following intriguing presentations by Miami University Regionals scholars.
Based upon their book, “Global Dishes: Favorite Meals from Around the World,” Lori Parks and Caryn Neumann will discuss what makes a national dish and why such dishes often illuminate cultural and political concerns. Discover how a national dish includes much more than its ingredients. Parks is an academic advisor, and Neumann is a teaching professor for Interdisciplinary and Communication Studies.
