Host, Ally Tamez, set a welcoming tone and ensured all voices were invited to share. Faculty members described the two-step contact process for students interested in their research. Students should become familiar with with faculty research interests and current projects prior to requesting time to ask about working with the faculty member. Several of the students asked questions. Rick Page invited students to get started on the CITI modules if they are planning to conduct research with faculty members. From a student perspective, I wanted 1) to see an example of a faculty webpage, and how to find them, in addition I would have liked a take-away of some sort - an outline of topics including and web links to follow up on "How Do I Get Started?
