The Miami University Steel Band presents its annual Fall concert with special guests, TNTeague, a father and son steelpan duo featuring Liam Teague and Jaden Teague-Nuñez. 

17-year-old Jaden Teague-Núñez is a multi-instrumentalist (steelpan, piano and percussion) and recently created history when he became the first steelpan player to win the 2024 Crain-Maling Foundation Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artists Competition. He was recently recognized as National 2025 YoungArts winner with distinction in classical/percussion by the National Foundation for the Advancement of Artists (aka YoungArts).

 Liam Teague is one of the world’s leading steelpan virtuosos and serves as professor of music and director of steelpan studies at Northern Illinois University.
