Setsubun (節分) is a traditional holiday celebrating the start of spring. The most iconic Setsubun activity is mame-maki, or throwing roasted beans at someone wearing an oni mask in order to ward off bad luck for the spring. Join us for an oni-mask making activity and mame-maki to ward off bad luck for the spring semester!
