This interactive workshop with two HCWE Faculty Writing Fellows from gerontology will explore how to situate research-based projects as scholarly conversations. Jennifer Kinney and Kate de Medeiros will share two innovative assignments they have designed (theory project and reverse genealogy assignment) to help students think about citation as conversation and where ideas in a scholarly field come from and how they evolve.
