William V. Coombs American History Lecture

Robert J. Allison, historian and best-selling author of “The American Revolution: A Concise History,” reflects on the significance of our nation's founding. Part of the America 250: Ohio anniversary, the lecture is being offered in partnership with Hamilton Community Foundation and Badin High School.

His books include “The Crescent Obscured: The United States and the Muslim World, 1776-1815;” "Stephen Decatur, American Naval Hero, 1779-1820;” “A Short History of Boston” and “Revolutionary Sites of Greater Boston.”
