This session will provide a brief overview of faculty learning communities (FLCs): what they are, how they work, their international recognition and operation at Miami since 1979, and their teaching, learning, and/or institutional outcomes. The discussion will focus on the FLC facilitator role and the CTE process for proposing an FLC topic or cohort for the academic year 2023-2024. Time will be allocated for Q&A to support individualized learning and FLC proposal development. This is in person only.
