Russia’s War on Ukraine: A Lecture and Poetry Reading with Lyuba Yakimchuk
Lyuba Yakimchuk is one of the most acclaimed writers in Ukraine. Born and raised in a coal-mining town in Ukraine’s east, Yakimchuk lost her family home in 2014 when Russian militants occupied the region. Her book of poetry, Apricots of Donbas, came out late last year. Yakimchuk read a poem from the collection at this year's Grammy Awards.
