About this Event
101 S. Campus Ave., Oxford, OH 45056
The Miami University Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Michael LaMattina, presents its fall concert on November 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Hall Auditorium. The program ranges from surf-rock and Laufey-inspired pop to driving rhythmic works by Mitchell Peters and the industrial power of Adam Mamula’s The Machine. Alumni and student arrangements bring fresh color and innovation to the percussion medium, with music that hums, clangs, and sings. The evening closes with ethereal selections from Emil Mosseri’s Kajillionaire score, music both hypnotic and heartfelt.
