Come home to Oxford Empty Bowls as we celebrate our 20th year of celebrating service learning and the arts while raising funds to fight hunger in the Oxford community!  Empty Bowls brings together the works of Miami University ceramics students, Oxford-area potters, artists young and old (including from the Scripps Gerontology Center's Opening Minds through Art), and local cooks to raise much-needed funds for the Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS), the Student Success Center's Miami Cares Pantry, and other local organizations that supply food to local families in need.

How It Works: At the luncheon guests choose from a collection of beautiful bowls created, decorated, and donated by Miami students, Oxford-area potters, and community and university organizations.  Their bowls are then filled with their choice of soups made by local cooks,  Luncheon guests then keep their bowls to use or display at home and to serve as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world.  Homemade bread and desserts, and beverages donated by local businesses, will also be served.

Cost: $15; children 10 and under eat for free (bowl not included)
