Come learn about the tragic events in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6th and 9th of 1945. We will also talk about Sadako Sasaki, a girl diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 12 due to radiation. Ms. Sasaki made it her goal to create 1000 paper cranes before her death which made them a symbol of hope and de-nuclearization the world over.
