Nestor Torres, Latin Grammy® Award Winning Flautist, will discuss the critical role of music in international peacebuilding. For more than two decades, Torres has promoted social, national, and international peace through his activism and music, especially after winning the 2001 Pop Latin Grammy Award. He will talk about his role as a Cultural Ambassador for Peace in a fireside conversation with Miami professors José Amador, Ph.D. and Helane Androne, Ph.D.
