During the current 2020 COVID-19 shut down, CBC lost over 350 blood drives and approximately 10,000 units of blood which affects 30,000 lives. Blood donation is critical for saving lives and it is safe to donate. All temperatures will be checked BEFORE donors enter the blood drive. People with any fever, cough or cold symptoms should not come to a blood drive. CBC has increased social distancing and infection control measures to ensure safety of donors.
