Mindful Art- workshop
The Student Counseling Service is excited to offer weekly Live Webinar Workshops! Each week there will be different topics presented by one of our staff for about 30 minutes. Any Miami student is welcome to register and watch the workshops.
Wednesday, 6/10/2020, 2pm EST- Mindful Art
Mindfulness is mentally focusing on one’s awareness on the present moment, while acknowledging and accepting own feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. These exercises can decrease anxiety symptoms and increase overall well-being. To fully participate in this 20 minute mindful art workshop, you will need paper and some form of writing utensil such as colored pencils, pens, or paint. Having color options is great, but not necessary. (No art experience is needed)
