The Midwest Outdoor Leadership Conference (MWOLC) is a 3-day student-led and organized conference meant to engage students from the Midwest who are interested in careers in the outdoors. 

This event provides networking, learning, and skill-building opportunities for students interested in the field of outdoor recreation and education along with environmental protection. It provides students and young professionals opportunities to unite and learn from one another, developing their leadership and technical skills, while making connections with others that may influence their future careers or hobbies. The weekend consists of workshops, networking opportunities, a professional panel, and keynote speakers, as well as many fun activities such as a bouldering competition and canoe battleships! 

Each year MWOLC is hosted by a different university. It has been a premier event for current professionals, students, and vendors from the Midwest to network and stay current in this growing field of outdoor recreation and education. MWOLC 2023 will be hosted February 3-5 by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
