Miami University Museums
Miami University Art Museum serves as a teaching museum that engages in dialogue with and about visual culture; maintain and expands a strong permanent collection; and recognizes and celebrates global artistic and cultural diversity through display, study, publication, and educational programs.
Hiestand Galleries exhibit artworks that highlight timely, enlightening, and challenging exhibitions that consider the ever-changing world of contemporary visual expression. The galleries feature artworks by national and international artists and designers, as well as work by undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Art.
The McGuffey Museum at Miami traces its origins to the 1930s.  McGuffey House and Museum strive to make the past relevant, not ephemeral. Stories told through objects bring meaning to life, past, and present. The museum also explores Miami’s heritage through education, research, history, and public programs.
The Hefner Museum is a resource that connects people to the nature in their neighborhood and shows how natural history applies to all disciplines.  Everything at the Museum is student driven, including research, exhibitions, taxidermy, and lesson plans.
