At this event, all members are invited to attend a food for thought miniature workshop in the Phillips lab before our second monthly meeting of 2022. Here, our executive member in charge of F4T will lead them in creating a small snack/dish with a learning component attached. Some themes we have discussed as an executive team are: foods throughout the decades, farm-fresh and farm-to-table aspects, as well as potentially incorporating the Miami University Organic Farm produce in our dishes. This is also a social time for members to bond more intimately in the food lab before walking over to our monthly meeting together.
