You may have heard of ableism, but what about sanism, or prejudice against people with a label of mental illness? Come to this introductory and interactive workshop to learn about the exciting emerging field of Mad Studies, an academic and activist movement that emphasizes the experience and expertise of individuals navigating various mental health issues in their daily lives.
