About the Love & Honor Cup: 

Nominees for the Love & Honor Cup must be seniors (Class of 2024) who promote the values of Miami University, take pride in the University, represent the student body, and enhance the University as a whole through on campus involvement, academic achievement, and community service.  

Selection Process: 

Once a student has been nominated, they will need to fill out an acceptance form that will require additional information and a resume.  All nominees will be reviewed by Community Standards.  After the additional information and resume has been received, we will schedule an interview with the Alumni Association who will narrow the nominees down to 10 finalists.  The 10 finalists will be notified and then the selection process turns to voting by a Selection Committee composed of University Faculty, Staff and Student Representatives.  The Selection Committee will vote on the finalists and rank the finalists. The 10 finalists will be announced and presented at the Homecoming Football game on Saturday, October 21 (game time TBD) and the top two ranked finalists will be announced during that presentation.

Review of Nominations by Alumni Association - September 18-22, 2023 

Interview of Nominees by Alumni Association - September 25-29, 2023

Notification to Finalists - October 4, 2023 

Voting by Selection Committee - October 4 -20, 2023

Game Announcement/Presentation - October 21, 2023
