Nominations for the Love and Honor Cup are now OPEN!

About the Love & Honor Cup: 

The Love and Honor Cup is an award presented by the Miami University Alumni Association to a senior who demonstrates Love and Honor by their campus involvement, academic achievement, and community service.  The award is presented annually at the Homecoming Football game.

Nominees for the Love & Honor Cup must be rising seniors (Class of 2025) who promote the values of Miami University, take pride in the University, represent the student body, and enhance the University as a whole through on campus involvement, academic achievement, and community service.  

Selection Process: 

Once a student has been nominated, they will need to fill out an acceptance form that will require additional information and a resume.  All nominees will be reviewed by Community Standards.  After the additional information and resume has been received, we will schedule an interview with the Alumni Association who will narrow the nominees down to 10 finalists.  The 10 finalists will be notified and then the selection process turns to voting by a Selection Committee composed of members of the Miami University Alumni Association Board of Directors.  The Selection Committee will vote on the finalists and rank the finalists. The 10 finalists will be announced and presented at the Homecoming Football game on Saturday, September 28  (game time TBD) and the top two ranked finalists will be announced during that presentation.

Timeline of Selection Process:

• Nominations Open- August 1 - September 3
• Review & Interviews of Nominations by Alumni Association, September 4-13
• Notification to Finalists - September 16
• Voting by Selection Committee - September 16-22
• Game Announcement/Presentation - September 28
