Join the History and Global and Intercultural Studies  Departments, Walter Havighurst Special Collections, and the Makerspace at King for a Flash Exhibition of student work. Students will display their Personal Codices, constructed based on their study of Mesoamerican codices and their visit to Special Collections to consult the facsimiles of several of these from Aztec, Maya, and Mixtec cultures. Students used the Makerspace for a variety of manufacturing techniques in order to tell their own personal stories in the narrative style and form of these ancient manuscripts. Speak with student docents, who will guide you through interpretation of the process and results, and peruse the variety of interpretations of techniques and symbolism that students used to create their own life narratives.
