Moore, associate professor of Botany at Miami University, will discuss the state of plant conservation efforts in the U.S., the history of the Endangered Species Act, and provide specific examples of plant conservation efforts based on his lab’s research efforts on rare species in the Florida panhandle, which is a hot-spot for plant diversity.
