It is our pleasure to invite you to the ISA department's annual cybersecurity panel, which will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 6 pm to 7 pm in the Taylor Auditorium FSB 1000. This year's panel discussion theme is "The Rising Global Cybersecurity Threats in the Digital Age of Business." We are excited to have three Miami Alums and cybersecurity rising stars: Kyle Kofsky, Cassie Whitley, and Timmy Boush.
Kyle Kofsky is a Senior Associate PCI Assessor at Schellman, a CPA firm that specializes in IT Audit and Cybersecurity. He is a 2020 Information Systems and Information Security graduate of the Farmer School of Business, Miami University. Kyle specializes in PCI DSS assessments and reports, as well as the assessment of network and system configurations, including servers and network appliances, vulnerability, patch, and change management configurations, policies, and procedures. Kyle also acts as lead assessor and point of contact for GRC senior management of Fortune 500 clients.
Cassie Whitley is a Miami University graduate who earned her degree in Computer Information Technology with a focus in software development in the winter of 2023. Originally from Mason, Ohio, she currently works in governance and compliance within the Information Security Services rotational program at U.S. Bank, where she is gaining valuable experience in the financial sector. Passionate about protecting people online, she is actively working to defend against cybercrimes by ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing security measures.
Timmy Boush is an IT Assurance Technical Associate at Crowe and a 2023 graduate of the Farmer School of Business, Miami University, majoring in Information Systems with Minors in Cybersecurity and Computer Science. Growing up in Chicago, Timmy always had a passion for figuring out how things work. Timmy is a Chess Master, Soccer Player, and Marvel Nerd.
