Do you wonder how you can enhance support for international students in your course(s)? This panel/discussion will help you understand students’ mindsets about writing, their writing experiences in their home cultures and at Miami. Students will share the challenges they typically face with writing and effective teaching approaches they’ve experienced in the courses they’ve taken so far. Students will also discuss how they benefited from English Language Learner Writing Center (ELLWC) services. ELLWC consultants will share their perspectives on assisting international students in improving their writing skills.
