Brenna McElderry grew up in Zionsville, Indiana and graduated from Zionsville High School in 2012. She then pursued a degree in Biology at Miami, where she got involved in a research lab, joined Greek life, regularly volunteered at the local retirement center, and worked as a tutor. After graduating from Miami University in 2016, she returned back to Indiana to attend IU School of Medicine. Now in her fourth year, she is currently in the application cycle for residency. She has chosen to apply to internal medicine and is looking at programs throughout the Midwest and West coast. She is eager to offer any insight she has gained through her medical school application process and training.
