About this Event
1601 University Boulevard, Hamilton, OH 45011
Environmental conditions like light, temperature, and wind influence plant and animal behavior. During the solar eclipse, the sudden plunge into darkness and change in temperature can trigger confusion and stress responses in plants and animals. Join Deidra Jacobsen, Conservatory director at Miami Hamilton, to discover examples of how living organisms shift their behaviors toward nighttime routines during an eclipse. Jacobsen will discuss plans for The Conservatory to quantify plant responses to the April 8 event.
Due to the popular response to this program, we are moving to the Harry T. Wilks Conference.
