Join us for History at the Movies! Each week we will screen and discuss films that illustrate Hollywood's notion of the "American Dream," a vision of our country characterized by opportunity, hope, and freedom, where hard work can turn rags into riches, make you a homeowner, and give you the chance to rise above humble origins. But what are the origins of the "American Dream"? How has it changed over time? What role has Hollywood played in shaping how we envision that dream? BYOP--Bring your own popcorn and join us for some classic movies!
