#NestorTorresArtistInResidence OfficeofInstitutionalDiversityandInclusionFor this year’s Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month Keynote speaker, Nestor Torres, Latin Grammy® Award Winning Flautist, will be performing various Latin Jazz songs and sharing some of the history of the music. Over the years he has received four Latin Grammy nominations, one Grammy nomination, received one Latin Grammy Award, and was awarded Best Pop Instrumental Album for This Side of Paradise in 2001. His extensive international career has infused his Latinx background in dynamic and creative ways to spread Latinx music throughout the world.
