The Miami University Diversity Affairs Council is committed to forming and providing spaces for coalitions and alliances to be built within the intercultural community of multicultural and diverse student organizations and their membership through analyzing and addressing issues of climate, policy, procedure and curriculum within the Miami community. Annually, the Miami University Diversity Affairs Council organizes the Global Holiday Party – which includes a lineup of local and global performances alongside food prepared and brought by participating student organizations. Attending organizations are given the freedom to represent their culture in whichever creative way they see fit.
