Authenticity: A Self-Portrait (Studio Imaginaries)
As part of a collaborative exhibition directed and curated by Prof. Joomi Chung (CCA, Professor of Art, Animation) titled “Unfolding Stories” focused on a response to the extensive collection of artifacts in our RCCAM (Miami University Art Museum). Prof. Chung invited several CCA faculty and their classes to participate: i.e.- Dr. Annie Dell’Aria, Dr. Jordan Fenton, MU Theatre Dance Director Ashley Goos, and independent artists.
Our studio begins the exploration of Authenticity: Self-Portrait, our personal, familial, public movement through space and time, by first exploring and responding to the artifacts in our RCCAM (Art Museum)–pre-Columbian, Indigenous, contemporary works.
