Canceled: Engines of VR: Unity
Out of an abundance of caution and in following the recommendations of President Crawford, Governor DeWine, and state public health officials to minimize non-essential group gatherings, Engines of VR: Unity has been canceled. We sincerely appreciate your understanding as we take steps to ensure the continued wellbeing of all our Miami community.

Take the first step in exploring the game engines that drive VR. The art, programming and media understanding needed to create good VR work is daunting. This hour and a half long workshop will demystify the process. Starting with an overview, we will offer tips, resources, and thoughts on common missteps made by new developers. In the second half, we get hands on with the Unity game engine. You will learn about the Unity interface, importing 3D models, and do a little coding in Simplest Saber, a Beat Saber-like game created for this workshop.
