About this Event

Join us in a viewing and discussion of the popular film Finding Nemo. View the movie through the lens of disability and explore what Finding Nemo reveals about disability allyship, self-advocacy, and community. Finding Nemo follows the journey of Marlin, a cautious clownfish, who embarks on a quest across the ocean to find his disabled son, Nemo, who has been captured by a diver and placed in a dentist's aquarium. Along the way, Marlin is joined by Dory, a forgetful but optimistic blue tang fish, as they encounter colorful characters, brave dangerous obstacles, and ultimately discover the power of family and friendship. This programming is in partnership with Miami University’s Disability Studies Program and the Miller Center for Student Disability Services
