About this Event
Presenters: Jaclyn Spraetz, Library and Nate Floyd, Library
How can we ease students’ research anxiety, encourage curiosity, and help students take ownership of their research projects? This two-part workshop series will help instructors understand the need to integrate information literacy into their assignments and how to scaffold information literacy and source evaluation strategies to help students successfully complete a research project. In the first workshop, participants will discuss information literacy in their disciplines, and the presenters will share classroom activities to help students do effective research.
