School vs. Education: We Have to Know the Difference Between Them

Over the last 150 years in the U.S. there has been the idea that "school" is the most viable place to receive an education. At the same time, there have been teachers who have dared to engage education from the understanding that it is something that is not necessarily guaranteed to happen in school. If we take this reality into account, we need to continue the trend of critical educators who have dared to step out of the order and compliance of school to bring education to the places that demand it.
