Stop by this informal drop-in event anytime 1:30-3:30 pm to grab a treat from Insomnia Cookies — and get help searching the library’s collection for your course materials!

Be sure to bring your syllabi, or as much information as possible about the books and texts assigned for your courses. We’ll work one-on-one with you to search for any available, free options through the Miami University Libraries.

Get answers to all of your course materials questions:
-"Does the library own a copy of my assigned textbook?"
-"How long can I check out a textbook from King Reserve?"
-"If the library doesn’t have a copy of my course materials, what are my options for requesting and borrowing through OhioLINK?"
-"What exactly am I allowed to request through interlibrary loan?"
-"I want to ask my professor about placing course materials for my class on reserve at King Library. What information should I share with them about this process?"

Need help with textbook costs? A limited number of scholarships are available for students in attendance with a financial need, pending approval from Student Financial Assistance.
