Residuals of Waste - Since there truly is no "throwing something away", what truly happens within solid waste dumps. A historical review of trash and where we are at now.

Discussed will be ways to secure human health through practical approaches to daily life in the home, office, or on the road. Environmental health is human health- it is our responsibility to instill and maintain both.

Janelle Allen is Visiting Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Miami University Regionals. She has taught over 20 different courses, including Environmental Biology, Field Botany, Human Physiology, and Community Health Perspectives. She also serves as part of the Center for Teaching and Learning.
