View mapStep outside the classroom and into Cincinnati for a one-day career adventure! Join us as we take Creative Arts students on a micro career trek designed to spark inspiration, broaden horizons, and showcase the many career paths available to you.
On this trip, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at companies and organizations across two exciting tracks:
Track 1: Non Traditional/Business and Media - Discover how your creative skills translate into opportunities in business, marketing, media, and beyond. (Cincinnati Reds, E.W. Scripps Company)
Track 2: Performing Arts and Entertainment - Explore Cincinnati’s vibrant arts industry, connecting with artists, designers, and organizations shaping the city’s cultural landscape. (Music Hall featuring Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Symphony, Cincinnati Orchestra, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company)
Track 3: Arts Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Design - Learn how creative and design skills can drive innovation behind the scenes. Connect with professionals in arts management, grant writing, marketing, IT, and digital design to see how artists and designers shape organizations and entrepreneurial ventures. (ArtsWave, The Marketer Collaborative)
Choose your preferred track when applying. If your first choice is full, you will be placed in your second choice. At the end of the day, all participants will come together for a networking session with employers and Miami alumni.

Date 🗓️: Friday, October 17, 2025
Time ⏰: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (full-day commitment)
Location 🌆: Cincinnati, OH
Transportation 🚌: Charter bus from Cook Field, Oxford, OH
⚠️ Capacity: 40 students (20 per track). Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until tracks are filled - apply early to secure your preferred track!
