A panel of Chinese and Vietnamese Miami students will share their perspectives on learning in the U.S., including learning challenges, effective teaching approaches they have experienced, and what contributes to an inclusive and welcoming classroom community. As an important step toward making these students feel welcome, participants in the session will be introduced to Chinese and Vietnamese pronunciation systems and receive resources and breakout instruction for pronouncing their students' names.
