This workshop will give you the tools to prepare for powerful career conversations as well as ways to find people to have a conversation with.

Career conversations or informational interviews are great ways for students to learn about different career opportunities, what the day-to-day is like in a career, what people love about their careers and challenges. This is also a wonderful way to grow your professional network while at Miami University. Please join us for this one-hour workshop to learn more about the importance of career conversations, how to find someone to have a conversation with, and how to prepare and conduct a career conversation.

Whether you are decided in your major or exploring, career conversations are a great way for you to learn more about career opportunities. People in the field are eager to talk with current students about what skills you should be gaining in college and about their day-to-day in their career. We want you to go into these conversations prepared.
